John Gilberthorpe b. 1701 it is suggested, married Mary Hall b. 1700  at Rotherham on 30/4/1775 - this seems unlikely and should perhaps be 1725? son Thomas Gilberthorpe chr Conisboro 22/5/1727 married Mary Burgon b. 1728  at Conisboro 4/2/1747 son William Gilberthorpe chr 30/9/1757 Conisboro married Mary b. 1757 son William Gilberthorpe chr 5/4/1785 Conisboro married Mary Robinson b. 1786 on 8/4/1806 at Laughton These were the parents of Mary Ann Gilberthorpe b. 1820	Robert Gilberthorpe chr. 20/5/1705 married Martha Fox b.1706 on 29/6/1745 son George Gilberthorpe b.1748 m Hannah Handley b.1748 son Thomas Gilberthorpe 1786-1854 m Hannah Nicholson b.c. 1788 Their sons George and William were the Grange Farm Gilberthorpes.	William Gilberthorpe chr. May 1731? married Sarah Moxon b. 1735 had a daughter Ann b.1775 married George Slack b.1772 nothing more is known.
