Tom in prison in 1911 Tom Gilberthorpe son of Joseph Fletcher Gilberthorpe and Sarah Johnson born Dec 1870 Rsided in Doncaster in all censuses prior to this. Why was he in prison in Prestwich in 1911?	Who is this Gilberthorpe?	Thomas, Loisa Maria and Nellie In June 1896 Louisa and young daughter Nellie arrive in Ellis Island, New York In November 1896 Thomas, Louisa and young daughter Mary arrive back in Liverpool There are numerous descrepancies in these two events which puzzle me. Louisa and Nellie were noted as being American citizens Where was Thomas on the outbound journey? Why did they come back? In 1891 they were all living happily in Bolton, Lancs. Why was Thomas not living with them in Bolton in 1901.
